[fortunately, there has been no brawl. all there is is ratchet looking equal parts furious and mortified.]

Unfortunately the abridged version is just as stupid as the actual version: I caught him stealin' scrap from the medibay, then got zapped pretty hard and dragged outta there. Now-- look, I didn't call ya because I felt like I couldn't deal with it on my own! [his tone is a little more insistent than necessary there, like he really feels like he needs to prove he can handle himself.] If it hadn't been me, it would've been whoever else had noticed him rummaging around. He can barely control that new body of his and Primus knows what kinda armaments it has!

That's still assault! You should write a report regardless! [Whether he targets a Decepticon or an Autobot, Antlers deserves a writeup. It's become a regular occurance for Minimus.] To where has he gone?

[ratchet, with his heroic ability to misinterpret literally every one of minimus's social cues, takes this continued yelling to mean he's done something wrong and minimus is annoyed with him. he's quite certain he hasn't, so it leaves him a bit confused and slightly put-off. like an adult, he opts not to voice these concerns, mind going to the last time they attempted to have an extended conversation.]

No, but I think our recent mission might have left a bit of an M-word power vacuum. I'll keep an optic on him-- hopefully this whole... thing will mean he keeps comin' back to me for future repairs.

[Minimus, misunderstanding Ratchet's quieting, wonders if the medic has been made too uncomfortable after the encounter with Antlers to speak of it. Sometimes, mechs need time to recover before taking action, but that's still no excuse to downplay a crime.]

He says nothing on Ratchet's awkwardness (since it would be rude in his mind), and walks on past him. The throne room is in this direction, might as well take a quick peek for obvious nefarious plots before heading back to the office.]
