We have not yet allowed him to join us. He will go through an interview with all three of us and he will have to provide his credentials. None of us are from his universe and know his history well enough.

[pffft]

I'm not the same as I was when the Lost Light first launched. We are in a different time, one that must maintain a truce between Autobots and Decepticons. We can't claim we are a neutral office when all of the Cybertronians in Security are Autobots.

If a Decepticon wishes to change his ways, I will give him the chance.

He's making a fool of you, Magnus. Starscream renounced the Decepticon badge before he arrived here. Besides that, since when have other Decepticons respected him? I suspect that they view him as an opportunistic traitor, much the same as ours.

Not every Decepticon despises him. I'm certain there are those who don't want to follow their Megatron. After all, respect does not mean he is not skilled.

We need all the help we can get. [He glares right back at Prowl.] Megatron has escaped justice for too long, and it's about time we get the help we need.

Starscream wants to be safe. He knows his Megatron better than any of us. We can stop another incident like Verity.

[pffft]

[ staring at his communicator. There are so many scathing things he wants to jab back with, but Magnus is not wrong here. ]

That's the first thing you've said that makes a lick of sense.

I am just unconvinced of the optics of giving him a public position.

[Finally. He and Prowl finally agree on something.]

I am not opposed to Ravage, by the way. Wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her, but it is wise to have a set of keen eyes aboard the ship.

She has no strong love for us, either, but she is obliged to assist me as she is Megatron's amica. She won't have an official position, but she will report to us if she notices anything.

[Even if she hates Prowl, she won't lie to Minimus.]

[pffft]

I would suggest keeping in mind a similar informant role for Starscream, rather than a face.

If you're looking for a token Decepticon to parade around and keep the rest of them from complaining, let me review our crew roster for options.

[ what a shame the constructicons arent around. they would be great for for being loud and purple in public. ]
